Reflection No.3: Class Presentation

As a university student, I have encountered numerous challenges that have tested my academic and personal abilities. Among these challenges is the daunting task of presenting in front of my lecturers and classmates. Recently, I missed a class and was given the task of presenting on the charity model of disability. This was my first presentation for the semester, and I was quite nervous. To prepare for my presentation, I spent three days creating a PowerPoint presentation. I focused on practicing positive visualization, which I found to be the most helpful tip for improving my presentation skills. However, one of the most challenging parts of preparing for my presentation was finding relevant photos and graphics to use. In the past, I have struggled with controlling my nervousness before, during, and after presentations. However, this time I found myself feeling comfortable and confident in front of my classmates.
