Reflection No. 5: Overall Module Reflection

Through this module, I have gained a profound understanding of the challenges faced by people with disabilities and the importance of supporting them to overcome these challenges. As a social work trainee, I now realize the significant role I can play in making our society more inclusive and supportive of individuals with disabilities. One aspect that particularly resonated with me is the concept of accessibility. I have come to appreciate that accessibility is not just an added convenience; it is a fundamental requirement for creating an inclusive society. Reflection No.4: Video Presentation o Persons with Deafness

  One of the module's most exciting activities for me was creating a video presentation with my team. The task required a lot of effort and creativity, but it was also pretty interesting and engaging. For me, the most challenging component of this assignment was learning and documenting sign languages. However, I truly enjoyed learning the basic sign languages that would be useful when conversing with deaf people. I really enjoyed working with my classmates and learning about their various viewpoints and concepts. I greatly valued the suggestions and encouragement we offered one another along the process.
