Reflection No.4: Video Presentation o Persons with Deafness

 

One of the module's most exciting activities for me was creating a video presentation with my team. The task required a lot of effort and creativity, but it was also pretty interesting and engaging. For me, the most challenging component of this assignment was learning and documenting sign languages. However, I truly enjoyed learning the basic sign languages that would be useful when conversing with deaf people. I really enjoyed working with my classmates and learning about their various viewpoints and concepts. I greatly valued the suggestions and encouragement we offered one another along the process.

While working on this assignment, I became aware of the significant number of abilities necessary for productive teamwork. One of them is communication. In addition to sharing information, communication also involves actively listening, respectfully expressing one's viewpoints, clearly stating one's intentions when asking questions, and resolving disagreements in a positive way. Using various technologies and social media platforms, I discovered how to communicate with my team members more effectively. As we presented our video to the class and the tutor, I also learned how to modify my communication approach for various situations and target audiences.

The creative work of video making allowed us to actively participate in creating content and presenting information in a visually appealing manner. This hands-on approach not only reinforced our understanding of the subject matter but also fostered our creativity and critical thinking skills.

This assignment also taught me the importance of cooperation and collaboration. Cooperation and collaboration involve sharing resources, ideas, and feedback in addition to the division of tasks and responsibilities. By being adaptable, understanding, and encouraging, I improved my ability to cooperate and interact with my team members. I also developed the ability to balance my unique contribution with the objectives and standards of the team. I believe that this ability enabled us to produce a more creative and innovative video presentation.

Overall, I learned a lot and gained a valuable learning experience from doing this task. As a result, I was able to enhance my teamwork abilities and consider my strengths and weaknesses. It also helped me to enjoy the collaborative learning process and to value how creative my friends are. I believe that the knowledge and experiences gained from this assignment will help me in both my academic and professional aspirations in the future.
